Hello everyone! Welcome to Waskle.com, its my new web portal and this is my first post. Hope you love it. I’ve decided to start with Google Chrome which is my favorite browser. I have been waiting for ages to be able to run Google Chrome on Linux and now its a reality. Well, this is an easy tutorial on how to install Google Chrome on Ubuntu 9.04 also known as Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope(weird name). Just follow these 3 easy steps:
Step 1:
Download the package appropriate for your system:
- Dev channel (for 32-bit systems): google-chrome-unstable_current_i386.deb
- Dev channel (for 64-bit systems): google-chrome-unstable_current_amd64.deb
Step 2:
Right click on the file, choose “Open with GDebi Package Installer”.
Step 3:
Click on “Install Package”(as shown on the picture below) and enter your password if prompt.

You can also install the .deb file by typing the following comand in the terminal:
sudo dpkg -i name-of-the-file.deb
Thats all! Hope it helps.
